DIGITALIZATION

Even as the digital transformation has accelerated as a catalyst of innovation and growth, there remain significant gaps in digital access and inclusion that threaten to create widening inequalities going forward.

Dozens of countries are racing to deploy 5G infrastructure, yet 31 percent of the global population does not have 3G coverage, and 15 percent do not even have adequate electricity.

In order to remedy these gaps, the B20 Indonesia Digitalization Task Force seeks to identify the components that are critical for digital inclusion as a major element of inclusive future growth.
